Meant To Be

UO Hat
Vince Leather Jacket (ebay)
Lole Silk Top (thrifted)
Rag and Bone Jeans (ebay) and Boots (ebay)
Anthropologie Bag (birthday gift)

These pants always throw me for a loop when picking out a top. I don't know why the embroidery down the legs makes them so hard to style (for me) but it does. I usually go with black or warm toned tops because of the red and orange thread so I am a little surprised I hadn't paired this silk blouse with them yet. This blouse gets a lot of wear in my work wardrobe, mostly because the silk is sturdy enough to throw in the washer on gentle/cold which is always nice with silk! I admit that I hand wash pretty much everything that's labeled as "dry clean" and so far have not had any problems so I don't know if manufacturers just thrown on the "dry clean only" label as a way to save money in the wash testing process or if washers really are that evil. (It's usually not the washer that kills clothes but the dryer! The high heat is really awful for fibers so I toss most of my stuff over the shower rod and let them air dry - I do toss jeans in the dryer for a few minutes afterwards to soften them up.)
