Rebel (not really)

Urban Outfitters Hat
Helmut Lang Coat (ebay) and Tank (ebay)
Eileen Fisher Sweater (ebay)
Aqua Leather Pants (thrifted)
Rag and Bone Boots (ebay)
Leather Bag (2013, consignment)
Whew, few days, no blog. I keep meaning to stay caught up on this but life just stays busy.

This pairing of my HL long tank with the cropped sweater over it is one of my favorite pairings and I use it quite a bit, so much so that I might be going into a rut with the whole cropped sweater over a longer shirt. It's pretty easy and I really like how the proportions work on me. I'm 5'2 and while I don't think any proportions are "off limits" due to my height (no matter what the advice columns  may say!) I do like this particular look. I'm also really fond of high waist maxi skirts and cropped tops with a hip length coat which is another look I think works really nicely on petites. I don't know why maxis are considered a no-go for short people, it makes zero sense to me and are my very favorites, I like the little extra bit of visual height they provide.

  1. Love this look as well!

And maxis are great. I'm also short and wear them a lot in the summer.
