Fun Can Be Free
American Eagle Jacket (2013)
Old Navy Tank, Sandals and Skirt
With all of the wet weather we've been trying to keep busy with fun indoor activities. Our public libraries are really amazing at putting on all kinds of fun, free events for kids during the summer, things like movies days, PJ story time, Book-Olympics today, and on Tuesday we attended at Harry Potter party for the new book. It was a ton of fun for the kids, everyone made their own wands, got their pictures taken in front of a Harry Potter background, a trivia contest, button making, and some other fun things. We still go out and tromp around in the mud because hey, that's fun too, but I can't express how much appreciation I have towards our Librarians who work so hard to put together fun things for all the kids in our community.
I suppose I don't have a huge amount to say about this, I've been defaulting back to my comfort zone of all maxis, all the time. They are actually easy for crawling around on the floor with kids and as long as the skirts aren't too long themselves, not awful for the wet weather. This jacket is a closet workhorse, I've found a black denim jacket to be a staple for me just as much as a blue one. (In fact, maybe more so!)
