Anthropologie Dress (thrifted)
Last friday my family watched the kids so Ev and I could visit the Fairbanks Asylm. It's a hunated house that's put on every year and it's always really well done and terrorifying but this year it was held at Ice Alaska over on Phillups Feild rd and the location was huge! It's basically a huge maze with different horror scenes, the actors put a lot of work into their costumes and characters this year and because the actors could interact with you, it was extra scary. Even though we entered by ourseveles, by the end of the huanted house Ev had been shoved out in front with me and another small group hiding behind him, Ev is about 6'4 though so he made a great shield!
We also got to go to dinner which happens maybe once a year for just the two of us. Wolf's Run is one of the best resturants in town, they've changed their menu to have a little more of a middle eastern flair and it was just really killer food. They win awards every year for having the best deserts in town and they totally deserve it, we had a rashberry chorclate torte and ugh, it's a good thing I don't eat there everyday because that was GOOD! Because it was a really last minute decision we felt a little underdressed for going to one of the nicest restaurants in town (Bogs, Carhartt, black pants - it' disturbing how much we matched.) but everyone at the restaurant was wearing the same thing! One of the nicest things about Fairbanks's the casual dress code, you can literally go anywhere and no one cares what you look like - it's pretty awesome.
Saturday was really packed for us with Holloween parties, carinvals and trick or treating, we all collapsed Sunday and didn't do a single thing. Well, until a fitting on the pipe in the pump house broke off and then I ened up spending the afternoon shovleing out the water and drying off the pump house's floors while Ev fixed the pipes. Woot, fun!
