Fall To Pieces

Free People Hat, Shoes and Dress (ebay)
American Eagle Poncho and Bag
Banana Republic Cashmere Cardigan (thrifted)

The majority of my knowledge of BR items comes from thrifting but it seems like they've gone down hill.  This cashmere cardigan I've had for 3 years (and who knows how old it really is) and it's still going strong, it's one of my most used items during the winter.  But from most of the new stuff I find thrifting and through consignment it seems like the cashmere and wool is really thin and of poor quality.  I bought one BR cashmere cardigan that was brand new with tags and it literally fell apart at the seams the first time I wore it.  I was happy I'd only paid $6 for it but still, it made me not want to shop at BR for anything new.

  1. I've always wanted a genuinevcashmere anything! A sweater or cardi would be guud! Still can't find a cashmere thingy that doesn't cost a hundred bucks! Sorry about BR, never shopped there, maybe the second hand items are just worn out and old.
I love the Autumn colors you are sporting here, the hat is dreamy!

  2. Seems like everything is becoming of a lesser quality lately.. These autumn colors are so lovely!

  3. I love ponchos! I can't wait to be able to start breaking mine out again.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts, I always like hearing feeback! (It really makes my day!)
