Free People Hat
Forever21 Jacket (thrifted)
PJK Silk Tee (thredup.com)
7FAM Jeans (consignment)
Proenza Schouler Bag (consignment)
Jeffery Campbell Boots (ebay)

We just finished with all of our presents for our out of town relatives(which is quite a few) and mailed them off today!  It's always a relief not having to play the waiting game at the post office later on in the year and I was worried about everything arriving in time.  We made most of our presents this year, they came out really cute!  I'd talk more about them but I think some of those relatives read here and I'd rather not spoil the surprise.  I will say that if you want to make something cute for a relative and you're not the most crafty person who ever crafted, then Michaels is fabulous because they have a bunch of partly finished crafts that you can personalize.   I know, duh, that's not brand new information but sometimes a cute, hand painted jewelry box can mean more than come stupid ceramic deer head.   I mostly say stupid ceramic deer head because I've been seeing SO many of those popping up in blogger gift lists.  Please, will someone else agree with me that Gift Posts are totally stupid?  I don't mind them if someone finds really different, special items that I might not thought of but it's ALWAYS the same stupid shit and it bugs me so much.   It really comes across as just an affiliates links grab and seems really greedy for a lot of the people who do them.  Like I said though, sometimes someone puts a lot of effort into them, I don't some really cute little opal studs sold off Etsy for really cheap and it's something I wouldn't have found otherwise.   I mostly just really hate that stupid deer head.   Does anymore else think of the deer head from Evil dead when they see those?

  1. It's great to get presents out of the way early, so you can relax and and enjoy the rest of the month! I did a lot of my shopping online this year which was awesome! Now I just have to hope everything gets here in time :p

  2. I like seeing gift posts but I enjoy them even more when they feature harder-to-find items like Etsy finds. That site is so huge I'd never find everything I want and sometimes I don't even know what I'm looking for. But I definitely can see how seeing the same things linked to over and over is super affiliate link spammy.

But anyway! I really like this little jacket you're wearing here and the mix of neutral shades in this outfit. Your orange-y hat is super cute.
