On The Way

Free People Hat and Bag (gift)
BCBGeneration Coat (consignment)
Anthro Blouse (swap wit a friend)
JBrand Waxed Jeans
Leather Boots (thrifted)

You're all going to be really sick of this hat.  It's pretty much my most favoritest of all favorite things.  This blouse is pretty new to my closet, a friend is going back to work after being a SAHM for the past five years and rather than go shopping, we just did a clothing swap.  I had a bunch of JCrew/BR silk blouses, skirts and dresses that aren't really my style anymore and she loves Anthro so it worked out pretty awesome for both of us.
I think I'm going to get rid of these pants and upgrade them.  They've completely lost their shape and after a half hour of wear, they bag out and pretty much fall off.  The material's gotten really thin and they just don't look that good any more.   (Ugh on my AE black pants as well, the material is really thin so you literally see every bump.  No thanks!)  Because black pants are such a staple in my wardrobe I think I'll try to find another nice pair like my Sevens, there really is a difference in the material between them and the AEs and they've held up a lot better.  I've been researching a good pair and I think I'm going to try to find a pair of the JBrand Marias on ebay, I don't want to pay full retail when I can find them for a fourth of the price elsewhere.

  1. Whoo, that's a bad job for a JBrand pair of pants! Love the pics and the hat!

  2. You (and your photos) belong in a magazine! That second photo in particular is lovely. Yay for clothing swaps and getting some new-to-you pretty things for free! Beautiful little bag - it picks up so well the metallic details of your accessories.

  3. Ugh, I hate it when that happens to jeans! There's simply no fix for them - time for an upgrade. Can't wait to see what you replace them with!
Haha, and noooo, never getting sick of this hat. It fits in with your style so well <3
