Cold Day In July

Forever 21 Jacket (thrifted)
American Eagle Outfitters Dress
Report Leather Boots (thrifted)
Coach Leather Bag (thrifted)

Well, we thought we were going to get an early summer but nope, snow's back! Heh, at least this means I don't have to rack the yard yet!

This dress is another thing in my closet that I'm trying to decide if I should donate it.  I actually really like it but I can't really think of any ways to style it aside from jackets and I haven't worn it in quite a while.  I'm really want to pare down my closet so if I'm not wearing something, I don't want it in there.  That gets hard when I come to an item that I like but don't wear very often.

  1. Aw another pretty piece!
I don't know how you part with all honestly. Aha, good luck though, and I just have to say it's a very pretty maxi dress - it'll be perfect for when it warms up too!

  2. I think these two look great together! The dress would also look very nice with your short hair. Alas - sometimes things that look good on us aren't really our style. I've run into this a lot.
It's difficult to part with clothes! I have several in my closet that have been sitting in there for years with no use. I'm a horrible offender.

  3. I see what you mean. sometimes it's so hard to get rid of things but then there are those other times when I totally want to throw pretty much everything out of my closet. oh the human nature... anyway, I think those photos and the outfit are pretty spectacular! snow is not great but everything else here totally is. especially your wonderful jacket, dress and super classy bag. I think it's this summer nights kind of dress by the way ;) oh and I answered your comment under my last post! :)
