Old Blue

J.Crew Coat (thrifted)
J.Crew Sweater (thrifted)
J.Brand Jeans (gift)
Dublin Boots (gift)
Fossil Bag (thrifted)
Fred Meyer Scarf

These Leather Dublin boots are my go-to winter boots, right after the Boggs.  They're actually suppose to be barn work boots that you can ride in. (the toe of the boot was designed so that it will fit into your stirrup iron as opposed to a lot of work boots that just won't fit or get wedged in and you cant pull your foot out quickly in case of an "unscheduled dismount.")  Because of this the leather is thick and the soles are really durable so I use them as winter boots, they're pretty warm in the below zero cold and because they're barn boots, they haven't fallen apart with the rougher use.  The snow is probably gentler than the knee deep, spring time muck they were designed for!

Erin of LooksLooks won the IPhone Case giveaway!  Congrats and I'll be in touch with you soon!

  4. Those are awesome boots! I really like that they aren't clunky yet are nice and warm. My winter boots are completely huge! They must weigh 5 lbs, lol.
I see you kind of smiling in one picture! :O

    1. Hah, I really need to work on that smiling thing! I get way too serious about the whole thing. :p. I've had some of those five pound boots, I use to walk two miles to classes and my legs would ache by the end of the day. Light boots are amazing!
