Ah, the sights you'll see

Great Northwest Hat
Gap Blouse (thrifted)
Old Navy Shorts
Coach Shoes (thrifted)
Dooney and Burke Leather Handbag (thrifted)
Small Turquoise Ring - Vintage  / Large Ring from Icing
Handmade Bracelet / thrifted Cuff Watch

We took a break from getting the car ready and everything packed up for the fishing trip tomorrow to take a run out to Chena Hot-springs.  We didn't actually go in the hot-springs, seeing at it was 80 plus degrees today, but it was a fun little change just to get out and do something a little different. (And if you ever come to Fairbanks, GO TO THE HOT-SPRINGS.  Seriously, it's awesome and it's one of the coolest things to go sit outside in the rock pools in -40 below zero in the dark and see the Northern Lights up in the sky.)  We stopped by one of the trail heads on the way back and walked around a bit, just enjoying the nice day.  We came across these little pond and too a few pictures, although this one is priceless.

Yeah, that's a freaking couch that someone hauled out there and half dumped in the pond.  Nice.

  8. that is such a perfect little hat! definitely one of your cutest hats, Katie, and how well it goes with the whole ensemble.. so summery and relaxed :) I also love the dip dyed top and that unique watch of course. your jewellery collection must be endless ;)
btw, I'm so sorry people do such disgusting things and dump their crap everywhere without thinking about the result of their actions. unfortunately it's very common in Estonia too..
oh and enjoy your trip and family time! take heaps of photos too!

  10. Your shoes are sooo cute! I've been seeing shoes like that everywhere lately and they are so adorable, I love how it ties up. And that's a really cool tie dye top, so perfect for a laid-back kind of day. And i've never seen the northern lights in person before and i've always wanted to. They look spectacular in photos! Speaking of photos, did you get new lens? Your photos look even more fantastic, I especially love that second to last photo of you peeking behind all those branches:)
