Path in the Sun Drenched Woods

Isabella Bird Cardigan (thrifted)
Joie Silk Dress (second hand on ebay)
Franco Leather Sandels
Dooney & Burke Leather Handbag (thrifted)
Leather Belt (thrifted)
Great Northwest Hat
Icing Tooth Necklace and Wood Bracelet
Rhodolite and Gold Necklace, Ruby and Gold Ring

This dress is fabulous, 'nuff said.

We finally hit 70 degrees today and wow,did it feel like paradise with a little bit of a wind to keep the mosquitoes off.  The kids and I got to play around and hike some of the paths tonight, there's still a tiny bit of snow lingering but for the most part it seems to be gone.  Crazy Fairbanks, snowing, blowing and freezing one day, 70 degrees and bright sunshine with no snow only a few days later.

Since I evidently felt like posting "all of the photos!" I might as well post a few cute little muffin pictures as well.  Visual proof that the whole blogger wear-your-rainboots-with-your-cute-dress trend is so much more adorable on little girls.  (But then, pretty much everything is cute on little girls.  Expect for that whole beauty pageant look.)

  4. Hi Katie, how I have missed you, you leave the best and most insightful comments on celebrity style, I always look froward to reading them. I also saw Willow and wondered what happened to her. So great to see you in summery bohemian chic ensemble, the dress is lovely, and as always you style it with grand flair. Your kids are sooo adorable and very stylish too!

  5. Well, there's the sun! Hooray for nice weather! I feel like you just had snow yesterday. I'm glad it's nice there now because this outfit is wonderful. I'm absolutely in love with the pairing of this dress and sweater! And your kids are too cute. If only we could all pull off rain boots and sundresses as well as she can...

  9. Haha, Fairbanks sounds a lot like Twin Falls. Albeit a little more extreme...we might not have tons of snow, but jeez, this wind-rain-sun thing gets old.
It looks positively summery there now though! Love your orange cardi on top of this dress, it goes perfectly. Plus, it just suits your background!
Haha, and no kidding, cooks have a well earned reputation about them...I should know. Thanks, I'll make sure to keep away from them!
Aww, and little girls can pull off anything. Your little one is just adorable <3

  11. Aw, the pictures of your kiddos are so cute :) I love the color of your cardigan btw. And what? no tights? so jealous! I've been in California the past couple days and I've had to wear tights every day! Of course I do have no tolerance for cold/cool weather...

  12. awww, such sweet photos of you and your little muffins :) I like it when you post different shots taken during the shoots since it's always interesting to see something extra ;)
when it comes to your outfit I like it how you always play with colours and match them really well (for example the cardi+belt combo). oh and a new hat! that's lovely as well.
btw, everything is super green here in Estonia but life has been too busy/tough to take photos, boo. I'll try to fix that :)

  13. I love the color of your cardigan here. It reminds me of fall and fall is my favorite so that's always a good thing. It looks so pretty with the print on your dress.
