Evening on the River

French Connection For Sears Blazer
American Eagle Tee Shirt
Gap Skirt (thrifted)
Madden Girl Boots
Leather Bag (no label- thrifted)
Jewelry- a mix of vintage silver and american eagle

We've been going down to either the river or Creamer's Field almost every day to see all of the birds that are starting to coming in on their migratory routes, the kids really enjoy seeing the birds and it's nice just being able to get out on the trails. There was a pair of swans down on the river last night which was exciting, first sighting this year!  It's fun seeing the birds down by the river, the ducks stayed through the winter this year and they're pretty use to people so if we hunker down and are quite, they'll come right up to us.    Ev had most of the evening off so it was fun to have him come along with us this time. (He actually took most of the photos, it's nice not having to lug around the tripod sometime and I'm pretty scared of the camera falling off of it again.  No more broken lens!)

  1. You know what would be my dream? If you were my photographer one day. Haha, if per chance I travel to Alaska (or you visit Idaho) we are having a major photoshoot.
Anyway, I basically think these photos are gorgeous, and I love them! The lake is one lovely place to visit, and sounds like a fantastic time with the kids :)

  4. Thanks for showing us the countryside and the natural beauty of where you live, I really appreciate that because I love nature and serene environments like this. The bird watching must be excellent there, do you get a lot of international and serious bird-watchers coming to tour the area? Your outfit is utter class, love that skirt, it works so well for cooler weather and I am creation it is a great summer piece as well.

  6. I'm really liking all the blues and browns in this skirt. And only you could take a summer fabric (seersucker) and make it look perfect even with snow on the ground!

  7. wow, how cool are those silver necklaces! and the fact you're wearing two, not one of those. two is always better than one, especially when it comes to more delicate jewellery like those here ;) I actually love the whole outfit. the layering, those leather accessories. you always know how to combine the right things.
by the way, it's crazy how much snow you still have there! I really hope it will vanish SOON and you can enjoy proper spring. we had +28 degrees C today in Estonia and it was crazy hot for spring but it also made me kind of sad because I have to work and I obviously can't enjoy the beautiful weather. anyway, like I already said, it's another great outfit from you!
