The Great White Silence

Have you known the Great White Silence, not a snow-gemmed twig aquiver?

There's a whisper on the night-wind, there's a star agleam to guide us,
And the Wild is calling, calling. . .let us go.

-Robert Service, The Call of the Wild (exerts, you really must read the entire poem, it's one of my favorites.)

  1. Ooooh...what an artsy post. Love the photos. I could practically sense the silence. Actually, I was seriously imagining the sound of crunching snow under your feet and the heavy blanket of quiet that must've been present.
Amazing use of photos and words! :)
