Frosty

So serious, so dorky.

Coat: Old Navy
Cardigan: Banana Republic
Dress: No labels (thrifted)
Shirt: Nordstrom Blouses (thrifted)
Fleece tights: Fred Meyers
Boots: Rampage (Fred Meyers)
Handbag: Coach (Thrifted)

This is one of those outfits that I thought looked a little weird in real life, but photographed well. (So much better than the other way around.)

Only eleven inches of snow has fallen so far this year and it's wreaking havok with everyone's pipes in town.  Usually by November we have three feet of snow and that snow helps insulate the ground and everyone's pipes because as soon as the super cold hits, pipes that are only a few feet in the ground with no snow to hold in the heat break.  This is a round about way to say that all of the plumbers in town have been really busy and we couldn't get anyone out to look at ours.  The upside is Evan and I managed to figure out and fix the problem on our own and now we have running water, we can use the sinks, take showers, ect!  It's wonderful.

  8. So good to hear your plumbing issues are sorted out! Thanks for your super kind comment - proves my theory on how sweet fashion bloggers are! I was viewing your photos and these look like two completely different outfits, its amazing how a trench coat can change a look - It adds sophistication and elegance and then the second look is so beautifully layered and styled. The snow looks so pristine!

  19. We had fix our own pipes once after we forgot to detach the garden hose and the pipe it was connected to burst over the winter. Oops! Thankfully my husband is handy and fixed it himself!

  20. Your dress and blazer combination could not be more perfect. The matching moody hues and contrasting textures are so appealing. The black backdrop for the floral print looks elegant and makes the black piping on the blazer really pop. Speaking of popping, look at those baby blues! You have really pretty-coloured eyes.

Glad to hear your piping issue was resolved. I can imagine how frustrating that whole process would have been!
