I swear I have pants on

Coat: Old Navy
Hat: Fred Meyer
Shirt: Carhartt (thrifted)
Tunic: ? (No label, thrifted)
Leggings: Fred Meyer
Boots: Madden Girl
Clutch: ? (thrifted)

Well, at least I think leggings sort of count as pants.  They do if they're fleece-lined, right?

I'm a shorty so this cute top that's tunic length on most people looks awkwardly(ridiculously) short on me.  It 's a bit bulky over jeans and I'm just not a leggings kind of girl, but sometimes it works to try something out of your comfort zone.  I found these dark red leggings earlier in the year, they're super thick with fleece lining and with long underwear underneath they keep my legs pretty toasty in the cold.

Ah, the cold. I kept trying not to breath out when the shutter would snap, but you can still see my breath in the pictures.   It warmed up quite a bit today so it was actually sort of fun to get outside in the fresh air and go jogging down this little path.

I'm a glutton for punishment.

    1. They're better than fuzzy pants, they're that soft.

  2. I really like the olive colored shirt over the lace dress/shirt/tunic top. Perfect for when you want to wear a military style jacket but don't want to have too many bulky layers, right?

To answer your Q, I lived in Anchorage for about 6 years all throughout high school and went to UAA for a couple years. then I moved to Fairbanks to finish uni! I totally miss it!!!

  20. I love this look! A military inspired shirt, which i thought was a jacket, tights, boots, and a dress! I wish I could dress as layered as this in southern CA! And the snow looks beautiful...I miss playing in the snow! -Jessica L
