Ravens are such scavengers.  Some poor fool left his garbage load uncovered and these two were really going at it, making a horrible mess!  It's impressive at how tough they are, they stay up here all year long and do pretty decent in the extreme cold. (Proof that ravens are like cockroaches, they can live anywhere.)  Sorry, that was the most exciting and relevant paragraph ever, I get side tracked like that.

This is a little back road behind one of the main commerce areas,  I've been wanting to take photos back here for a while since I love how the sunlight plays off of the frosted grass, but it's always such a busy spot.  Today the light was sop petty that I couldn't resist and I managed to get a few photos, but not before people drove by and the "look" was exchanged.

Embarrassing.  Caught in the act.

  18. Haha, I love it. It's always SO embarrassing when people catch you taking pictures. I feel like they always drive slower and stare, I think they're trying to figure out what you are doing. You look so pretty and I love the way the light looks in these pictures! :)

  20. Thankfully I have never met a raven before and hope I don't bump into one in the future. I think scary-staring people are the reason I won't do outfit posts...because I live in a small town and everyone knows everyone - would make it even worse! This is the first time I'm seeing the colour of your hair in this light, so pretty! Your jacket is awesome, an all time classic. P.S Thanks for for wonderful comment, I really enjoyed reading it, think you will outshine Kristen Wiig though :)

  21. HAHAHA, omg this happens to me all the time! Drivebys where people are like "WTF/WTH is that girl doing out there with a tripod?" The green necklace is incredible pretty, and it really just enhances your eyes, love it. Your polka dot tights are off the hook, they just add the right amount of sass to your outfit, raise the roof!

  24. I love your dotty tights! And I have to commend you on going out into the elements for your outfit shots. I've been too wimpy to do it since the Alaskan winter (my first) began, and Anchorage isn't even as cold as Fairbanks.

  25. haha. that happens to me too, a lot. when I take pictures it's in public places, even if there's no one in the pictures I post, there are a lot of people passing by! I kinda got used to it.
