It's coming

Jacket: Banana Republic (thrifted)
Scarf: Old Navy
Silk Shirt: Edward (thrifted)
Pants: American Eagle Outfitters
Shoes: Steve Madden

These shoes are so comfortable and easy to walk in on pavement and flat surfaces but I learned my lesson today.  They are NOT for climbing up and down a hill or on the rocks.  (Duuuuh Katie.) Obviously I was not using all of my brain cells today.

I guess my disclaimer for wearing these non-climbing friendly shoes is that I wanted to get one more wear out of my sandals because guess what's in the forecast for Friday?  Yup, we're on snow watch from here on out.

I've had these mint jeans for a while now and I can't believe I haven't posted them yet.  That's what I get for being a non-regular blogger.

  2. Wow, they are really comfortable?? They look uncomfortable :D But so pretty! Great touch with the scarf, the outfit looks complete with it! The kiddies are so cute and squeezable!

    1. These shoes are crazy comfortable, the straps just lock your feet right in. But as soon as I walk on the uneven ground, they become dangerous, ankle-rolling traps. :P

  3. Snow watch already? You poor thing! You look great, but yet again I want to steal your daughter's outfit. Cardigan, dress, tights, boots? That's basically my cold weather uniform:) Clearly she gets her fashion sense from her mamma:)

    1. Hah, she loves cardigans and dresses, it's pretty much the only thing she'll wear day to day. (And a princess hat. That's become rather popular lately.) ^_^

  4. Oh my gosh, I can't believe it may snow already! Your shoes are so cute even if they're not the greatest for walking around in :) Love your blazer/button down/scarf layering!

  7. Oh wow...one of my favorite outfits. Those shoes look so great with the mint jeans. You really look great in skinny jeans. I wish I could wear them but my booty is not skinny jean friendly.
You choose the most beautiful backdrops for you posts. I'm always amazed at the natural beauty of your outdoor environment.

  8. Crazy to think you can be wearing sandals one day and then have it snow the next!

The dusky navy with the mint is a great combination. Sometimes navy can look too harsh but this one is perfect. Especially with the scarf that ties it all together.
