I've been really hesitant to jump on the patterned pants trend. At the mention of floral pants Aunt Meggy's floral old-lady-pants with the elastic waistbands come to mind, worn with a blouse in a coordinating color mind you, and I'm just not brave enough to wear animal print pants. Now granted, Ive seen many a blogger make the patterned pants look work and it does work well on them, but then I 'm not a cool and groovy chick.
When I saw these pants at AE that hesitation went right out the door. Colorful pants don't scare me and who doesn't heart polka dots? Plus, these pants have ankle zippers! As you can see, I do really love denim shirts, I thought it would be a fairly tame garment to pair with the polka dot pants. I think this old navy shirt is heading for the donate pile however, the fit is a little off and it wrinkles so fast, even if I take time to iron it in the morning. Why struggle with a ill-fitting shirt when there's tons of great, Lands End denim to be found at the thrift store?
