Gray skies

Sweater: J.Crew Cashmere (Thrifted)
Skirt: Gap (thrifted)
Coat: Betsy Johnson
Tights: Sears
Boots: Black Poppy (Pacsun)
Handbag: Coach (garage sale)

Wow, this outfit is just bursting with color.

I do really like monotone outfits and while I like this one a lot, I think next time I'll pair a sheer tight with these booties, the these just do not work with the black booties in the photographs.  Which is strange because they look okay in real life, but the tights just look so flat and thick in the pictures.   It's funny how some things photograph well and others don't.

  3. It must be getting cold in Alaska with the coat and boots! The print on your skirt is really cute and I love it with the tights.

  4. Aww. thanks for the comment- yea. TOTALLY TRUE- It's like stop telling people half the truth because I don't want to waste my energy being confused, and thinking about this situation later on. haha. I guess that is what makes us more "black and white personalities." And also because I set my standards really high, it is easy to push people away from being super close friends, because I feel like I am so easily influenced. There is totally a difference between close friends, friends, and acquaintances. :)

I really like this skirt by the way! And I would love to invite yo to join this new fashion bloggers against social injustice network me and a fellow blogger started! your personality seems like an asset for our network! That is some powerful stuff, I know that we have a real problem with that up here, it's awful that in this day and age this still happens! (Heh, I sort of get worked up over this issue.) Thank you!

    1. I know, I love the color gray as well. :) Our weather flipped from being nice and warm to cold and rainy and general fall weather within two days. :P And yikes, I hope your nice weather stays around, do you normally get a long fall over there, or does it just go right into winter?

  7. It's such a bummer when you think you look one way and the camera says something else. Still, I think your outfit is perfect for a gray, drizzly day.

Yours is no exception, in fact, when it gets cold enough here, I'll be pulling a fast one on ya, and you'll see something very similar... lol. Your comments always make me laugh and smile, so thank you for being such a great friend!
