Growth spurt

Shirt: Laura Ashley (thrifted)
Jacket: Sears
Pants: AE
Belt: The Limited
Shoes: Madden Girl by Steve Madden (Famous Footwear)
Hand bag: Coach (Consignment shop- Designers Closet)
Earrings: Curfew
Bracelet: Gottschaks

As you all can see, I grew like three and half feet over night, I now tower over all fences! Yeah, sure.  This is SUCH an  alaskan feance, all it really needs is some duct tape somewhere...

It's so fun to see how different garments in your closet can mix and match to create completely different looks. With the exception of my shoes and the funky earrings, all of these items have been featured on this blog before, but in very different looks.  For me personally, one thing I love so much about style blogs is not seeing new items, but seeing how other bloggers remix the items in their closets to create new, exciting outfits.  It always inspires me to go back and constantly try new combinations within my own closet.

Because, you know,  the popped beach ball on the other side of the fence really is THAT interesting..

  2. Hahaha Katie! That last comment made me laugh... LOVE your blog! I happened to stumble upon it through a chain of blogs and am so glad I did.

I too, love "shopping" in my own closet to find new ways to put things together. Helps keep things new and different without having to pay a penny, and that's always nice!

LOVE the red jeans and that consignment store bag was a steal!

    Keep in touch!

    1. Aww, Thank you Amanda! It is so fun finding new ways to wear the garments you have in your closet already, I've been having so much fun breaking out the summer clothes lately. :) And yes, this bag was quite a steal, I've been enjoying it ever so much!

    1. Oh my gosh, this is such a sad little fence! I don't think you can see it, but it's being supported by the power pole in one corner and then it changes height half way through. (But it is still not the most interesting fence on our block, a few door down our neighbor has a fence built out of plastic milk crates. Yup. I'll have to get a photo of it!)

  6. I agree, I'd much rather see someone remix their wardrobe than wear new clothes all the time! That fence is cracking me up...even my puggle could hop over it :)

  16. We're twinners (as far as my red skinnies post today, that is) I love that jacket, I'm not sure if I've mentioned it before, but it reminds of one that Kendi pulls out from time to time on kendieveryday. I would definitely be eyeing a popped beach ball... lol.
